This year was our second year doing camp staff training at Astro camp. Jody had planned a great time for all the staff to spend team building and getting to know each other, while doing ropes courses.
I was super bummed that i wasn't allowed to go on anything, however i did enjoy being with the group and i got some fun pictures as well. Not to mention, I was attacked by a lizard, that's a whole other story.
Everyone got to go on a super cool zip-line and do something called "The Sky Coaster". The shy coaster was fun to watch. Each person, one at a time were tethered to a tree and pulled up about 40 feet by all the other people. Once at the top, they had to pull a pull cord and free fall about 20 feet and then swing. It was crazy to watch.
It was a great way to get to know each other and have some fun before all the campers arrive tomorrow. I just love this new camp tradition!
