Today Daniel and i helped put on a "Minute To Win It" night for all the teens in our church and their families. I helped to put together all the games and co hosted the show. Daniel did all the audio and video for the night. Which by the way made the night perfect and exactly like the tv show.
Over 100 teens and their families piled into the main sanctuary for a night of fun and laughter. And oh was there a lot of laughter. We played for preliminary rounds and then a semi finals and a finals. Everyone had a blast and was a perfect way to end our summer at The Mix.
It was a lot of fun combining junior high and high school for the summer but it will be nice to get back to Canvas and continue working with the high schoolers God has put on my heart.
Tonight was also our intern Brandon's last night with us. He heads back home to St. Louis tomorrow morning. He will be deeply missed by all. He did a great job over seeing The Mix and making it special for the teens. I look forward to seeing what God does in his life and hope that he might be led back here to California to server again.
[this is good] Looks like it was an awesome night! Hope to see more nights like this at the Vox! I also heard there are more games on Minute to Win It now so maybe add those to these nights as well.
